No — we use a rental model. Golden Star Holiday Lighting owns, maintains, and stores the lights. You get a custom-fit, professional install every year without buying, storing, or untangling lights yourself.
Most homes range from about $750 for smaller or simple rooflines up to $1,600+ for roofline plus bushes and trees, with a $1,000 minimum job. Final pricing depends on roofline length, bushes, trees, roof height, and whether a lift is needed. We'll always give you a free custom quote before any work begins.
Generally no. Since your lights are custom-cut to your home and we store them for you, pricing typically stays consistent year to year. You're paying for the full service — install, takedown, storage, and maintenance — not just someone re-hanging lights.
Place your deposit early for priority scheduling. That gives you the best chance at an early-November install, before the season gets busy. Booking later is still fine — you may just be scheduled after Thanksgiving instead.
Takedown typically runs mid-January through February depending on weather, with everything down by March 1 at the latest.
Snow, ice, or unsafe roof conditions can push a scheduled date. We'll reach out proactively to explain the delay and get you rescheduled as soon as it's safe to be on the roof.
Yes — we offer an early-deposit discount and a Friends & Family discount. We're happy to talk through what's available when you get your quote.

Yes. Every install includes a smart timer so your lights turn on and off automatically each night — no remembering, no manual switches.
